Based in Melbourne Australia, the Carlton Blues of the Australian Football League needed an customizable solution to incorporate their game day team selection into their pre-game promotional videos each week.

After moodboards and styleframes were approved, a modular animation system was built within After Effects to allow the team to easily swap in players on their roster on a week-to-week basis without any larger manual animation adjustments.
Imagery and typography were developed in sync with both the team and their sponsorship partner’s branding guidelines. This included layering in subtle references to the team logo, slogan, and stadium, as well as creating an adaptable container to accommodate changing sponsorships as the season progressed.
