_Battlefield
This was a game night opening video for the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins, used for 13 home games in the spring of 2014. Instead of the more standard, static video presentation, the visuals for this piece were mapped and distributed across every video board available in the arena, including two 15,000+ pixel wide LED ribbons. Many of the visuals in the piece were created using the same LED hardware, configured into a triangle tunnel (custom built by Mitsubishi for us).
This piece won the 2014 Emmy Award for Graphic Arts & Animation from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Mid-Atlantic Chapter. It was also nominated for a Golden Matrix Award for Best Show Open by the Information Display and Entertainment Association (IDEA).
